Buff & Blend Cross Buffs are designed for use on small, straight grinders. Cross buffs have 8-32 threaded eyelet for attachment to special cross buff 1/4" mandrel. The Buff & Blend GP material allows removing surface contaminants without eliminating critical detail or gouging the work piece. Excellent for cleaning, finishing and polishing inside diameters of bores, cylinders, valve bodies and round/square tubing.
Applications:
-Removing surface oxidation. -Surface preparation prior to coating. -Removing surface coatings for part inspection. -Removing rust. -Removing corrosion on Steel Rule and Kirksite dies. -Polishing round and square tubing. -Polishing valve spools. -Mold and die polishing. -Polishing inside diameters of lifter bores, valve bodies and brake cylinders. Uses 1/4" B&B Cross Buff mandrel PN: 700143 (available in the accessories section).
