Description
 
Buff & Blend discs are used for the light deburring, blending and cleaning various metal surfaces. Usually used to clean and blend fine tooling marks and scratches. Open non-woven structure of abrasive material allows for light deburrring without risk of gouging or undercutting the work piece. For more aggressive non-woven finishing try surface conditioning discs. *Discs attach to short nap (hook & loop) style holder pads available in the accessories section. Recomended for use on orbital sanders.

Applications:
-Blending minor surface imperfections. -Blending handling marks. -Blending coated abrasives secondary burrs. -Removing minor surface oxidation. -Surface preparation prior to coating. -Removing surface coatings for part inspection -Removing rust. -Removing parting lines from small castings. -Removing small burrs from threaded pipe. -Removing flash from plastic molded parts. -Cosmetic finishing on aluminum castings.
