Excellent starting point for medium to heavy deburring and polishing. These convolute deburring wheels are constructed by wrapping non-woven nylon, impregnated throughout with abrasive grain, around a hard core. Each layer is bonded together with an adhesive to form a homogenous wheel. Wheels can be used on automated equipment, straight shaft stationary tools, straight shaft portable tools and feed through machines.
Applications: -Removing medium to heavy burrs. -Deburring of Aluminum die cast flashing. -Removing parting lines from castings and forgings. -Smoothing radius on stamped metal parts. -Deburring Stainless Steel pipe threads. -Deburring punched holes on machined parts. -Polishing welds. -Blending and polishing handling marks. -Polishing small, casted parts prior to coating
