500 series soft density unitized wheel for maximum conformation to work piece. These unitized deburring wheels are constructed by bonding and compressing layers of abrasive impregnated non-woven nylon together with an adhesive system. The material is pressed with heat to form a solid block from which wheels are cut. Wheels can be used on automated equipment, straight shaft stationary tools, straight shaft portable tools and feed through machines.
Applications: -General purpose cleaning. -Removing rust. -Cleaning prior to painting. -Removing discoloration from welds. -Removing minor pits and scratches. -Removing resins and adhesive overspray. -Coating removal. -Polishing fillet areas on jet blades. -Polishing soft metals prior to coating process.
